Following a one-year absence, the Berlin Marathon is back. As Berlin — our home city — is the setting for many of the fastest marathons ran in history, we’re celebrating long distance runners everywhere by teaming up with the Swoosh on the Highsnobiety x Nike Berlin Fast Capsule Collection. Inspired by the Situationist concept of a “derive,” involving the creation of a subjective map from observations made while walking around town, the German capital’s landmarks serve as iconography for the collection, which has a little something for everyone, whether for sport or casual wear. Made with 100% recycled polyester fibers, the outerwear is water-repellent to keep you dry no matter the conditions. A zippered pocket at the left arm provides you with space for carrying keys or a card, and the entire jacket can be packed into the hood when not in use. To celebrate the running culture of Berlin, navigation symbols decorate the garment, including a “You are here” graphic that is not only a marker on a map, but also a state of mind for long-distance runners.
