G Herbo is facing some serious legal troubles amid accusations of an elaborate federal fraud case that puts his luxurious lifestyle into question.

The Chicago Tribune reports that G Herbo, born Herbert Wright III, his music promoter, Antonio Strong, and various members of their crew have been accused of conspiring to defraud multiple businesses with stolen credit cards for several years. According to federal documents that were made public yesterday, the Chicago rapper and his associates have allegedly been using “stolen identifications to charge more than a million dollars’ worth of exotic services over a four-year period.”

The exotic services allegedly purchased illegally include private jets, private yacht charters, limousine rides, exotic car rentals including a Bentley CGTC and Maybach S600, various trips abroad, a vacation villa in Jamaica, a private chef, as well as two designer puppies Wright purchased from a dealer in Michigan in 2017.

Herbo's manager allegedly participated in the use of fake email addresses to illicit account information to make unauthorized payments for these luxurious goods and services spanning from May 2016 to September 2020.

The 14-count indictment, filed in Springfield, Massachusetts, charges the defendants with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and aggravated identify theft. Currently, it is unclear if G Herbo and his alleged co-conspirators have agreed to turn themselves in and when they will appear in court.

At only 25 years old G Herbo has made a name for himself in the Chicago drill scene and made waves this year with his PTSD album, which boasted collaborations from the likes of Juice WRLD, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, and Lil Durk. Just this week, he appeared on Forbes’ “30 under 30” musicians list.
