Who: Harry Styles

The outfit he’s wearing: A brown vintage suit with a white shirt, patterned golden-brown tie, dress shoes, a leather briefcase, and a leather lunchbox.

Location: On the set of Don't Worry Darling in Palm Springs.

Why it works: Harry Styles' fashion moments have been causing quite a stir of late, but this Don't Worry Darling fit sees Styles embrace another aesthetic entirely — the 1950s American door-to-door salesman look — and, perhaps suprisingly, we're here for it.

Although it's a costume, the peanut-colored suit combined with the clean-cut shave and ’50s style pompadour hair suits him extremely well and demonstrates the transformative power of a well-cut single-breasted suit. And despite Styles being the kind of person that (apparently) covers himself in wild Gucci numbers even when popping out for coffee, this styling actually isn't too far removed from his usual brand of romantic dandy-ism — just with tighter pants, broader shoulders, and a skinnier tie.

It's worth noting that the nearby classic Ford Thunderbird and cinematic lighting probably help when pulling off this kind of look too. Take a closer look below.

Elsewhere on the set, Styles was snapped in a blue suit, which is giving us more finance bro due to the petrol-blue color scheme.

Take a look at some of our favorite brown tailoring pieces in our selections below to get the coffee drip.
