As Nike wraps up a successful year, the brand's Air Jordan plans for 2021 look to replicate some of its successes from the past. An unofficial look at the Air Jordan 4 "Taupe Haze" suggests the Swoosh will finally be treating its fans to an alternative to the ultra-exclusive Travis Scott friends and family AJ4.

The sneaker's Scott comparisons boil down to its "Taupe Haze" colorway, which almost directly replicates the rapper's khaki-colored assemblage of 2018.

For the "Taupe Haze" the suede overlays, the netting, as well as the cracked leather fabric dressing the tongues and ankle collars are rendered in the titular hue. Given how many wear and tear-away propositions have released in 2020, speculation has emerged that the imperfect paneling may reveal different hues underneath. Meanwhile the upper is offset with eye stays, cages, laces, heel counters, sock liners up top, as well as midsoles in black. Moreover, “Infrared” accents make the Jumpman insignias stand out.

This isn't the first time that Nike is trying to cash in on the Travis Scott hype by offering a general release version of a covetable collaboration. The AJ4 will follow on the heels of the Air Jordan 1 High “Mocha,” which drew strong comparisons to Scott's reverse-Swoosh AJ1 collaboration.

The Air Jordan 4 "Taupe Haze" is rumored to release on January 28, 2021, for $200, but Nike has yet to confirm this. Keep it here for updates.
