Kerby Jean-Raymond and Pyer Moss have partnered with The Marsha P. Johnson Institute to honor Transgender Day of Remembrance. The collaboration, which supports Pyer Moss' "Exist to Resist" platform, is marked by a limited edition T-shirt that features an image of gay liberation activist, Marsha P. Johnson.

Exist to Resist serves to spotlight the work of social justice organizations, as Pyer Moss creates limited edition merchandise to bring awareness to various efforts and raise money for the coinciding causes.

“A part of our role as creatives in this world is to observe and listen to those who are identifying and challenging the ills that plague our present and our future," said Jean-Raymond. "The Marsha P. Johnson Institute stood out to us as an organization that is protecting and defending the basic human rights of Black transgender people and we see it as our job to support them and amplify their voices rather than speak for them.”

Pyer Moss' Marsha P. Johnson Institute "Legendary" tee is an oversized-fitting unisex crewneck with the words “Legendary” and “Alive” emblazoned across the back. Proceeds from the T-shirt will go to The Marsha P. Johnson Institute, which stands in support of Black trans people. The organization is recognizing Transgender Day of Remembrance as a day to celebrate life and honor resilience.
