What does it mean to be in a family? For social bonds to bind by the love that wields them? This holiday season, Ralph Lauren launches its “Family Is Who You Love” campaign, which celebrates families in all their forms: biological, chosen.

The handsome Parisian dance crew La Marche Bleue heads the campaign, clad in Ralph Lauren knits, suits, and plaids. The crew, headed by choreographer Leo Walk, is known for blurring the lines between contemporary and hip-hop, a kind of cultural fluency that resembles Ralph Lauren’s own history, mixing the high and the low. Speaking of their sense of unity and closeness, dancer Ablaye Diop says his favorite thing about the collective is “the different energy that mixes together and makes us one.”

Biological families also appear in the campaign. The Indigenous model Philip Bread appears with his family as does professional rugby player Marco Itoje, while Chinese musician Edison Chen is present with his wife, Chinese supermodel Qin Shupei, and their three-year-old daughter Alaia. Others include writer, director, and producer Greg Berlanti with his husband Robbie Rogers; and the community-based Work to Ride non-profit.

There’s enough here for every member of every kind of family, wherever they may be this season. Ralph Lauren’s holiday collection includes some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes: Polo shirts and cable-knit cashmere sweaters. The brand also offers customizable options this season, such as its new Custom Packable Jacket from its Create-Your-Own program. This year, customers will also be able to customize an insulated outerwear piece, each made with recycled nylon, polyester, and down.
